Yesterday the earth kept heaving like the earthquakes I never feel so I didn't leave the house to do any of the several tasks I had planned. My husband went out alone to get the groceries and pick up some DIY tools to assist with our current project. He came back, happy with his purchases, which included 2 flavors of ice cream.
My friend (who I also work with) came over to help me with a group applique project she recruited me to. I learned quite a bit but it turned out we had the moose design facing the wrong way. So I get to try again....practice is good.
I'm also making great progress on my husband's second sock so soon I will have made my first pair of socks!
